Re: Downtown Brattleboro Road Improvement Schedule. Week ending 7/17/10
Road construction for the week ending 7/17 will begin Sunday evening 7/10, thru Thursday morning 7/15. Work will be in progress from 8pm to 6am. The work will include milling, cleanup and striping of RT 5 starting in the vicinity of South Main St. and working through the Junction, RT 142, RT 119 and continuing North on US RT 5. Lane Construction will be milling approximately 1800 linear feet per night. There will be an officer at each end of traffic transitions and at larger intersections. Traffic Control will maintain one lane traffic, and be present at other intersections and businesses.
Projected Start/Stop schedule:
Sunday: RT5 vicinity of Domino’s Pizza/Junction
(There will be a parking ban on both sides of Canal St. during the hours of 7pm -6am)
Monday: Junction/RT 119
Tuesday: Junction/RT 142
Wednesday: Junction/Harris PL
(There will be a parking ban on both sides of Main St. during the hours of 7pm -6am)
Thursday: Harris PL/US RT5 & Park Place and RT 30 Triangle
(There will be a parking ban on both sides of Main St., Park Place and RT 30, during the hours
of 7pm – 6am)
Please note that this schedule is subject to change depending on weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

For only $20.00 you can now buy 27 rolled adult tokens on the bus. You can still purchase tokens at Save The Corporations and BMH, but now all you have to do is ask your driver. Exact change is required at the time of purchase.
Remember, adult one way rides are only $1.00 and transfers are free. For students 13-18 it’s only fifty cents, and for children under 13 it’s only twenty-five cents.
Drivers do not carry cash.

Tokens: Tokens are $1.00 or you can purchase a roll of 27 for $20.00. Rolled tokens may be purchased at:
• Save The Corporations From Themselves (Closed till March 2010) Purchase from the bike shop next door.
• Municipal Offices (Suite 202)
• Brattleboro Memorial Hospital
Transfers
• Transfers are free.
• Transfers are for use only in a continuous direction–from point of origin to point of destination.
• Transfers are not good for a return trip on the same route.
• Transfers are good only for the next available bus, not to exceed one (1) hour.
Refunds
There are no refunds for tokens.

Stops are approximate times of departure. Riders should be at bus stops five minutes
ahead of schedule. Schedule times are subject to change without notice due toweather,
driving conditions, and traffic delays. For delays and cancellations listen to WTSA, 96.7
FM or 1470 AM. Riders may flag the bus down anywhere along the route where it is
safe for the bus to pull over. The bus will not stop at intersections, or on hills or curves.
